This game was developed by a team of undergraduate students over the course of a year as a capstone project for the BYU Center for Animation. Every aspect of the game was made by hand, including custom code, assets, and animation. I was one of its animators.
During the early stages of the game's development, I focused on solving the problem of how to make dancing a fun, expressive part of gameplay. I pitched flamenco-based maneuvers and potential mechanics, drew pencil tests, and provided card animations that were used until the actual rigs were ready to go.
